Congress Is In Search Of New Tribal Leader In Madhya Pradesh Congress is looking for a new party chief in Madhya Pradesh after Chhattisgarh. Its main focus is on a clutch of leaders from the tribal community whose support is very important in propelling it to power last year.  Currently, Chief Minister Kamal Nath is also the president of the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee ( MPCC ). Mohan Markam was appointed by Congress as the tribal leader, responsible for its Chhattisgarh unit. Following this, speculation raised that MPCC, too, will get a tribal leader as its head. The team is trying to fix Home Minister Bala Bachchan, a tribal leader, as the MPCC chief, party sources said.
