Prime Minister Narendra Modi To Offer Prayer On June 9 At Venkateswara Shrine
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will offer prayer at the popular hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala District of Andhra Pradesh on June 9, reports a temple authority official on Thursday.
PM Modi after visiting Sri Lanka and the Maldives this weekend will arrive at Renigunta Airport, near Tirupati, from Srilanka’s Capital, Colombo, informed source.
After offering his prayer at Venkateswara Shrine, the Prime Minister of India will fly to New Delhi on the same day, added the official that this is PM Modi’s tentative schedule according to the communique.
All necessary security arrangements are being made at the Airport, the path leading to the temple and on Tirumala Hills for his visit.
The official continued that Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy are likely to accompany PM Modi to Venkateswara Temple.
This will be his recorded first visit to the hill shrine after becoming Prime Minister of India for the second consecutive term.
Earlier, PM Modi has visited Venkateswara Temple as the Prime Ministerial candidate in May 2014 and as the Prime Minister of India in October 2015 and January 2017, reports the official.
