Mamata Banerjee Provokes Violence In Bengal, Claims Babul Supriyo


On Tuesday, Union Minister Babul Supriyo has accused West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of provoking violence and appointing TMC workers and police officer for the same.  

Asansol’s BJP leader Babul Supriyo told the source that “the Chief Minister herself is provoking violence in the state and employing party workers and police for it. This government has no moral right to be in power.”

Asserting that TMC Government in Bengal won’t last till 2021, Mr. Supriyo added, “The head of Bengali community is down with shame not only in India but across the world just because of the present scenario in West Bengal.”

On Tuesday, BJP leader Mukul Roy wrote a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah requested him to initiate proper action to safeguard common man’s life in West Bengal as “anarchy and chaos” prevails all over the state due to uncontrollable violence.

Mr. Roy’s letter comes in the wake of a written letter that TMC had written to Mr. Shah on June 9 over the arising violence in the state.
